Personal Coaching for Kids
If your child is falling behind in sport, lacks confidence, or needs more one-on-one support to achieve their goal, personal coaching is for you. Personal coaching takes all the struggles off of your hands, and fast tracks their development and self-belief.
The importance of a personal running coach.
The Real Struggles Parents Face
Many parents come to Roo Running worried that their child is falling behind in sport, losing confidence, or struggling to keep up with their peers. It’s tough watching your child avoid running because they feel “too slow,” or seeing them get frustrated when school sport becomes overwhelming. Parents tell us things like, “I just want my child to feel confident and not left behind,” or “They’re capable, they just need the right support.” Whether it’s low fitness, poor technique, screen-time habits, or not knowing how to help without creating conflict, you’re not alone as these are incredibly common challenges for families today.
Why Coaching Works in a Way Parents Often Can’t
Kids respond differently to a coach than they do to a parent, which means simple guidance suddenly becomes meaningful. Our one-on-one coaching fixes all the technique issues that slow kids down, and gives them structure, accountability, and personalised support all without the battles that often happen at home. We focus on confidence as much as performance, helping kids feel proud of themselves, motivated to move, and excited to take part in sport again.
The Transformation Parents Want for Their Child
With the right coaching, children feel more capable and genuinely excited about physical activity. They improve their running form and develop habits and confidence that carry into every sport they play. Roo Running gives parents peace of mind knowing their child isn’t falling behind but instead building the skills, fitness, and self-belief they need to keep up, participate fully, and thrive. Our mission is simple: help your child feel good about themselves, move with confidence, and enjoy being active.
